WARNING:
There are two smart screws included in the package that can open a hole in the metal while driving into the metal surfaces. These screws are used for Wood, Plastic, Aluminum, or Metal doors. It is recommended to use a Philips Head Screw Driver
- Take the Doorlane out of the package and place it to the lower end of the inside face of the door
- Place a pencil under the plastic knob under the doorlane to adjust the height.
- Mark the holes for the metal plate or draw the metal plate on the door.
- Remove the metal plate from Doorlane and screw it on the door.
- Attach the Doorlane onto the metal plate.
- Press on top of the Doorlane and let the knob touch the floor. The top screw hole will be visible.
- Make sure the Doorlane is Vertical to the floor and screw it tight on the door.
- While Doorlane is vertical, when you press on it down to the second position, the door will stay in that location until you release the doorlane.
- When you press the unlock plate on the Doorlane, you will hear a strong Clicking Noise and doorlane will release the door.
